Problems with the Amarok Diesel Particulate Filter are well documented. The Amarok runs an active DPF system that traps harmful diesel particulates in a honey comb structure, and then burns them off as the DPF flow is reduced. NOTE: THE 2011/2012 AMAROK'S HAVE A DIFFERENT LENGTH OF DPF. IF INSTALLING ON THESE MODELS YOU WILL NEED TO MODIFY AND EXTEND THE DPF DELETE PIPE TO SUIT.
DPF DELETE SPECIFICATIONS:
- 304-grade polished stainless steel piping.
- Stainless CNC machined turbo housing connection
- Straight through design for maximum efficiency
- Stainless connection to suit factory exhaust or aftermarket DPF back system
- TIG welded
- Mandrel Bent
- Gaskets and bolts included
These are a proven design producing fantastic sound and performance upgrades on the Amarok.
Note: An ECU remap is recommended when deleting your DPF.
